However, some people need to be extra careful and alert while consuming turmeric as it may have some side effects.


1. Diabetic patients

People who has diabetes should give ton of consideration to their diet chart and physical activities. They have to deal with their blood glucose (sugar) levels. It ought not to be excessively high or get excessively low. The curcumin present in turmeric is known to lower the blood glucose levels.
